Opal Festival Draws Near - 26th-29th July 2007
Opal Festival promises to be
more exciting than ever this July, with possibly
the biggest exhibition of the International Opal
Jewellery Design Awards to date. 
Rated as one of the
world’s most prestigious opal jewellery
design competitions, it will be held in July 2007
in Lightning Ridge (world’s supplier of
quality black opal), NSW, Australia.
The International Opal
Jewellery Design Awards promote freeform opal
with undulating surfaces and its use in
jewellery. The Competition is judged by high
profile industry leaders and international
experts, winners receive black opal prizes and
significant media exposure.
The Prestige Award is
presented to an outstanding opal jewellery
designer with the entry incorporating freeform
opal.
The team at Lost Sea are
currently working on entries for the competition,
and looking forward to the festival with
anticipation.
There is no better place for
the showcasing of up and coming opal jewellery
designers, if you love opal and jewellery, don't
