Lost Sea Opals is proud of the quality of its products. We are committed to guaranteeing satisfaction for our customers.
If you are unhappy with your order for any reason we will refund your purchase price, as long as the product is returned to us within 30 days of its receipt by you, in original condition and with its invoice and packaging.
In addition, all of Lost Sea Opals' products are guaranteed for workmanship and materials for 2 years from the date of purchase. Within that time frame we will gladly replace or refund any faulty product, as long as Lost Sea Opals is satisfied that the product has been subject only to normal wear or use.
Customers will be responsible for shipping costs for the return of products.
Prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include the 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). For international orders, GST will automatically be deducted from the purchase price when you select the Tick if Export Purchase check box.
We accept payment by Visa and MasterCard only. Credit cards are debited for the purchase price and cost of shipping in Australian dollars. Currency conversions for international orders will be performed by the bank issuing your credit card, at the time your credit card is debited.
We ship our goods using Australia Post . When we receive your order, we will email you with confirmation of your shipping date and approximate delivery date. We endeavour to ship all goods within 2-3 days after receiving each order.
Delivery outside of Australia: Australia Post International Insured Registered Mail Service delivers to international destinations 7-10 days after shipping.
Due to the current difficulties in tracing shipments, we presently ship only to the following countries:
- New Zealand
- United Kingdom
- United States of America
- Western Europe
Delivery within Australia: Australia Post Registered Mail Sevice deliveries within Australia should be made 2-7 days after shipping.
If you require your order by a specified date, we suggest you place your order as early as possible, and inform us of that date by phone or email.
Other delivery services (e.g. FedEx, Express Courier Services) are available if you prefer. Email us for a quote.
All goods are insured by us against loss or damage whilst they are in transit. Once you are advised that your order has been shipped, we guarantee delivery unless the address you have supplied is incorrect, illegible or incomplete, or if the recipient is away or has moved - in which case you will be liable for payment of the purchase price and shipping cost irrespective of whether the order arrives on time or not at all.
IMPORT DUTIES ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
International orders (orders delivered outside of Australia) may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the product reaches your country. All such additional charges are payable by the customer. When ordering from us, you are considered the importer of the ordered product and you must comply with any laws and regulations of the country in which the goods are received. Contact your local customs office if you require further information.
When you purchase goods through the Lost Sea Opals web site, your transaction is secured by SSL encryption technology from Thawte. We respect your privacy and do not disclose customer details or credit card information to any outside parties.
